We recently had the pleasure of visiting Chicago and had a wonderful time exploring all that the city has to offer. One of my favorite experiences was visiting Millennium Park and seeing the famous “Bean” sculpture. The park was bustling with people, and it was great to see so many people out enjoying the beautiful weather and the public art.
Another highlight of my trip was visiting Navy Pier. The views of the lake and the city skyline were breathtaking, and there was no shortage of things to do. We rode the ferris wheel, visited the botanical garden, and even went on a boat tour. It was a great way to spend a sunny afternoon.
Of course, no trip to Chicago would be complete without some amazing food, and we were fortunate enough to dine at Chef Art Smith’s Table 52 restaurant. The food was absolutely incredible, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Chef Art Smith is a true master in the kitchen, and it showed in every bite. We started off with the fried green tomatoes and the shrimp and grits, both of which were absolutely delicious. For our entrees, we opted for the fried chicken and the BBQ ribs, and they did not disappoint.
Overall, my trip to Chicago was an absolute delight. From visiting Millennium Park and Navy Pier to eating at Chef Art Smith’s restaurant, I had a wonderful time exploring all that the city has to offer. If you’re planning a visit to Chicago, I highly recommend checking out these attractions.
